Publishers or outlets accepting short one-off strips.

Are there any commercial comics publications (or websites I guess) that accept or publish one off strips, ie single pages or two or three pages? I was packing up loads of old comics yesterday in preparation for moving house, and ending up flicking through various old magazines I'd kept from the 1980...

Re: Lettering

I'm not a fan of the idea of rules for lettering comics, or at least I'm not a fan of the way they're presented on some of the lettering font websites, or when people talk about them on twitter. I'm talking about things like always use a crossbar I for the pronoun, but non-crossbar I when in a word,...

I had an object that was appearing multiple times in a strip, so I figured it would be worth the ti...

Re: Drawing the basics...

I genuinely think How To Draw Comics The Marvel Way is a great book. It gets a bit of flack these days, but it's straight to the point and full of properly useful stuff.

Re: Stretch Goals 101

I've never done a Kickstarter, but I've backed loads, and as a Kickstarter consumer I find stretch goals to be at best meaningless, and at worst quite annoying. Generally I just want to buy your book or comic, and want it to be the best version of that book or comic in can be. Because stretch goals ...

Re: Hello!

Thanks for setting this place up PJ, hope it proves useful. I draw comics a bit in my spare time, doing mostly computer graphics for games in the day job, although there's increasingly blurred boundaries between the two (both in terms of my work, and tech creeping in to comic drawing and hand drawn ...
